Projects

I'm working through a small variety of articles, including technologies and processes I've used at Block and OmniTabz, and my research in offline-friendly privacy-centric AI for home automation.
- At Cash App I've been quietly geeking out over the use of entity tokens. I extended this concept into my work at OmniTabz, and did a short write-up: Share tokens instead of IDs
- I use Node-RED extensively in my home automation, so I ran a short experiment in embedding an agent in a Node-RED workflow, and using it with a locally-hosted LLM to create and manage other Node-RED workflows: Automating automations
I've been doing user research for a travel journal webapp, where an "archivist" agent can review uploaded photos and group them into experiences, annotate people, locations and activities, and help the user journal their experiences. I've parked this for now, but I've got a pivot in mind soon...

I've been working through an injury, so I've put Fitness Boxing aside for now. I'm re-playing SIGIL II with Brutal Doom, and picking off some unfinished side-quests in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Currently staying in Melbourne, Victoria. Visiting the city for coffee catchups, and collab work with ex-colleagues.
Pumpk and I experimented with renting a motorhome (the Kea Discovery M660) as a mobile workspace, while we visited Wilson's Prom. It's the best we've tried so far.
